From a boulder I can’t wrap my arms around to pebbles in my pocket, writing breaks my emotions down into manageable bits. When my chest swells with joy or weighs heavy with sadness, the only way for me to pull the feelings out of my body is to put it down on paper. And I have a lot of feelings… so there is a lot of writing.
My wedding brought about so many happy tears. But here’s how all the love and joy actually felt…

Crying and Crying and Crying
Crying and crying and crying helps with the emotions too, of course. Happy tears, sad tears, angry tears, etc. They all count!
I am a perpetual movie crier, too, unfortunately. There are many movies I delay watching because I know I will cry, and I’m not usually in the mood to do that, as one can imagine.
For some unknown reason(!!), I decided to draw all the happy tears & movie tears I’ve shed in the past month. Please enjoy my drawings of ugly tears! (P.S. Princess Kaguya is a wonderful movie and everyone should watch it.)
Well, I hope you all have a good cry if you need it, and a good writing session if that didn’t work! Have the best weekend.
It really felt like that! Like we were standing in your light. <3
