This conversation happened on Mother’s Day and I thought it was unbelievably sweet. We’re just enjoying him while we can! That’s the whole point of dog ownership (and really, everything. Noticing the good years while you got ‘em). Thank God we adopted him. He has made our lives immeasurably better, and I think we’ve made him pretty happy too.
Next week is Lucky’s 2nd gotcha anniversary and Gran’s 102nd birthday. (Yes, I know!!) We’re celebrating with hotdogs.
